Welcome to our B.O.C. blog. Learn about the world of handcrafted ceramic beads, buttons, pendants & components.

We Have A Date OCT 24th

Do You remember this sign from last year?  Did you participate last year?

We are planning one again for this year.  Almost exactly a year later.  It will be Sunday October 24.  Stay posted for details.   All you need to participate is a blog, an Etsy or website shop, be a maker of ceramic beads, buttons or pendants , participate in the BOC Giveaway that day, and commit to being on line Sunday afternoon October 24, 2010 to reply to blog comments and announce the winner of your hourly Giveaways.  Most of us had a sale in our shops during that time as well.
We help you with the rest.
You can also participate by visiting the participating blogs and making comments for the many giveaways of wonderful ceramic beads, buttons and pendants during the three hours of this live on line event.  Or you can shop for incredible discounts at participants shops all Sunday afternoon until Midnight.

Watch here for more details.  If you think you would like to participate or want more info just leave a comment and I will get back to you.

Tool Talk Thursday: Bead Racks for Small Kilns Part III will be posted next Thursday.

  5. Thank you for all of your comments. More to follow. One important note, this event is about ceramic beads, buttons and pendants. We love Polymer clay but we only focus on ceramic, clay of the earth on this blog and on the BeadsofClay website.

  6. Hi Heather, We only are about ceramic, clay of the earth so we don't include polymer in our activities. Thank you for your interest though and please stop by and visit the blogs during the Open Studio Event Sunday Oct. 24,2010.

  10. I've created a button and put it on the side bar of the blog. If you have a blog and want to add this follow these directions (for "blogger" users):
    1. Add gadget: HTML
    2. Copy and paste the html code below the picture on the BOC blog.
    3. Hit save, then move it to the position you want it on your blog…

NOTE: I wanted a larger image on my blog (BOC is 150 pixels, my blog is 300). So I went into the gadget html that I copied and pasted and found "s150" in there and replaced it with "s300", hit save, and wha-la… done.

Email me direct if you have questions about this and I'll try to help you out… Marsha (at) MarshaNealStudio.com (put @ in the address where it belongs).
