Great Clay Tool

I recently purchased one of these Sil-Pin Jr. rolling pins for my studio. It's called Jr. because it is only 4 inches long. I have seen large ones in ceramic catalogues but this is the first time I have seen the smaller size. I was hoping it would be stick free on clay, like it is touted to be on dough. Just tried it out tonight and find that it works really well. And there is no seam or any other mark on it that might transfer onto your clay. They are made by fiesta. You can find them on Amazon or maybe at a store like TJ Max, where I found mine. It works really well for rolling small amounts of clay over press molds or textures. Mine is a bright lime green so it is easy to find on my sometimes cluttered work table. They come is several fun, easy to find colors.
