You can win these Wubbers Bailing Pliers, a spool of Vintaj wire, and an assortment of ceramic beads to use them with by entering our Beads-of Clay Tool Talk Thursday Giveaway.
Perhaps you remember the Bailing Pliers tutorial I wrote for this blog. You can see it here. These are fantastic pliers and you will love using them. Marla's Mud and Bisque Bead Supply are our generous sponsors for this giveaway.
Here is how it works.
I will be picking a winner on Thursday August 5th using a random number generator. All you have to do is tell us your favorite beading tool in the comments section by Midnight August 4th, 2010. You can add your name additional times to the pool by letting us know you have become a follower of the Beads-of-Clay blog, or that you have posted about this giveaway on your blog, Twitter or Facebook. Each time you mention our giveaway in those venues and you let us know in the comments section, your name will be added another time. The Winner of the Beads-of Clay Tool Talk Thursday Giveaway will be announced on Thursday August 5th in the Tool Talk Thursday Blog post that day. I look forward to your comments and GOOD LUCK!!
I have several favorites: my Dremel, my pliers, wooden skewers etc. But maybe if I win the Wubber pliers, they'll be my new favorites. Denise from Violette Station Studio
ReplyDeleteI have to say my favorite beading tool is my crimping pliers. Of course, I don't have too many tools yet--still working on that as my budget allows.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win!

Oooh, I've been wanting to get these! My favorite tool right now is probably my shiny new chasing hammer... had no idea how lousy my last one was until I messed with a friend's! My clasps look so much nicer now!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I've been following via my google reader for a while, but now I am official a "follower" of the blog!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite tool. That's a hard one! I guess I love my flat nose pliers, I use them like second hands!

And I follow your blog too
ReplyDeleteWell, it depends on what I am doing! One of my all time favorite tools was a corsage pin...I would string a section of beads for a patter to get a better idea than trying to get them to play nice in a bead board. Also those little bead stoppers are god-sends to me. But right now I am stamping tiny tags with my signature skeleton key stamp (custom made for me from Microstamp 2 years ago) and I am praising the bright orange dead blow hammer that I picked up at Bead & Button. Love it! But I am coveting new pliers and Wubbers would be a great set to try!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the day!
Erin
Sounds boring, but I can't live without bead stops - those springy things that keep your beads from slipping off the wire. They've saved me more times than I can count! And I am a follower now!
ReplyDeleteI love all of my tools, my dremel, my needle nose pliers........I would love the chance to try out the wubbers.....and would really love the beads, can never have enough!

ReplyDeleteJust facebooked the giveaway as well!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is my Lindstrom pliers. They make wire working easier on my hands.
ReplyDeleteHummmm, trying to figure this one out! LOL I'm going to have to go with my hammers...chasing, texturizing, I just love my hammers! But wait, I've just figured out a torch too, and that's running a quick second...huh.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I'd love to win this fab giveaway! I've just become a follower of the blog too. Thanks!

My flat nose pliers is my favorite tool, I think I can do just about anything with it, except cut wire. Thank you for the giveaway, would love to own a Wubber tool!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite tool has to be my bent nose chain pliers. I love to do chain maille and my bent nose pliers allow me to get into a lot of tight spots.

My favorite tools now are the wooden cuticle sticks that I use to create my beads, They're nice and smooth (unlike the bamboo skewers), so they create a smooth, tapered hole in the beads. I also use the other end to create textures and sculpt.
ReplyDeleteI am a wire-beginner, so I guess I love the only tool I have by now, my round nose pliers =)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite tool would have to be my round nosed pliers, but that may change if I win!
