September Nature Challenge Winner!

Congratulations Gail Barnett from "My Studio on the Lake"! I think you will all agree her (C) entry was a wonderful interpretation of the September Challenge picture.  It captured the essence completely!  September's prize is a bottle of Spectrum Glaze Crystals -Cro8 Reactive Blue and a $10 gift Certificate for bisque ware from Bisque Bead Supply!  Thanks to all who submitted entries...they were all inspiring!   4. Gail was so kind to share some details of creating her piece. Here is what she said:

    "As far as what I did with my piece.... I started with several detailed sketches, then I hand formed all of my beads. I determined my color palate. Mixed the stained slips. I also use glazes, underglazes, and lusters as appropriate. Most of the beads are fired three times. Labor intensive - you bet! But I enjoy every
    minute of the process!" Thanks Gail!
