Artist Marsha Hedrick has been a porcelain artist for the last 18 years, although, most of her work has been in the form of doll house miniatures and porcelain dolls. In 2002 she was awarded Fellow status by the International Guild of Miniature Artisans.
"I began working with porcelain when I lived in Australia in 1987. I quickly moved from making large porcelain dolls to making miniatures. When I moved back to the US in 1992 I began to paint on miniature china as well as making doll house porcelain dolls. I have been creating original sculptures in miniature of antique china since 2000. My work in miniatures can be seen on my miniature site Porcelain Fantasies."
"In 1997 I began to design some jewelry pieces although my main artistic outlet was still miniatures. I am now beginning to expand the jewelry line with beads, Native American style jewelry, Celtic designs, and some Asian designs. As a Native American living in the southwest I wanted to take advantage of the location , my heritage and my love of Native American art. I am incorporating some of the designs from the ancient southeastern Indians into my jewelry and other Native American art. Here is a brief overview of the history of the Choctaw which will give a general look at the culture from which I am drawing inspiration. I am now creating original designs with Native American themes in jewelry and Home Decor items. These items can be seen at Natika's Porcelain Art."

Wild Roses Aromatherapy Pendant This pendant features hand painted wild rose design with an iridescent border and gold scrolls by well known miniature artist Nancy Duden. This pendant features multiple small holes around the side and a large hole in the back. The idea is to fill the pendant, which is hollow, with cotton and put a few drops of essential or perfume oil on the cotton. When worn the heat of the body will cause the aroma to diffuse into the air surrounding the wearer, while keeping the oil contained within the pendant preventing irritation and prolonging the effectiveness of the scent. Size:2 3/8" (60mm) wide at widest point by 2 3/8" (60mm) long from top to point.
