Saturdays With Sharleen - Color Inspiration

2 summers ago, my friend and I went to Branson, MO on vacation.  On the way down, we discovered a huge store out in the middle of nowhere, that was filled entirely with jigsaw puzzles.  I hadn't worked a puzzle since childhood, and I bought a few, one for me and as gifts.
It took 2 years, but a few months ago my mom took out the puzzle I had given her and we started working it.  Now we're hooked.  A few weeks ago, I bought more puzzles on Amazon.
One of them is a 1000 piece beauty depicting flowers.  It is by White Mountain Puzzles, and is called "Perennials".  As I was going through the box looking for the border pieces, I started to marvel at the beauty of the little treasures I was sorting through.  Each piece looks like a miniature abstract painting, and the colors are stunning!
I started seeing ceramic pendants and beads created with some of the color combos on the pieces.
Here are pictures of some of the lovely pieces.  This idea for color inspiration could also be expanded.  Pictures from magazines or flower catalogs could be cut into squares and each piece examined for colorways.  I love new and different things that get me excited about playing with my glaze colors again.
